What is happening?
We have carried out an internal restructure of our group companies to help simplify how we deliver our products and services. Your water and/or sewerage retail supply contract has been taken over by our parent company, Pennon Water Services Limited.
Does this affect my terms and conditions?
No. Although your new legal agreement is between you and our parent company Pennon Water Services Limited trading as ‘Source for Business’, your terms and conditions (rights and obligations) remain the same.
Has SSWB Limited been taken over?
No. SSWB Limited is a subsidiary of Pennon Water Services. This is merely an internal administrative restructure of our group companies.
What happens to my retail charges?
There has been no change to your retail or wholesale tariffs because of this change.
Do I have a choice?
Yes. If you would prefer not to accept the changes for any reason. We will help you to switch to another supplier. You can contact us, or you can find more information about other regulated suppliers on the website
www.scotlandontap.gov.uk which is managed by the Water Industry Commission for Scotland (WICS).
Do I need to do anything?
No. The legal changes took place automatically and you will not notice any disruption to your services.
Will my bill change?
Whilst your retail and wholesale charges are not impacted by this change, your bill will look slightly different as it will be sent by Pennon Water Services operating under its brand name ‘Source for Business’.
Is there any impact to my payments?
If you pay by direct debit or through a vendor you do not need to change any payment details. However, we will write to you to notify you if changes are required and please always check the payment details on your bill to ensure you are making payments correctly.
Are you outsourcing my services?
No. Under the internal restructure there has not been any change to personnel responsible for your retail services. It is the same team with your best interests at heart.
I did not receive a copy of the letter notifying me of this change?
The letter was sent to the address we use to bill you for your water and/or sewerage wholesale and retail services. If you have moved premises or changed any of your contact details, please notify us using the contact form below or contact us on 0800 042 0347 or by email on
